    Thirty kilometres from the Le Colombier campsite, you can explore the Cider Route, the Normandy drink par excellence! It is also at the crossroads of the region’s greatest cheeses, with Pont-l’évêque Camembert, and delicious Livarot cheeses… Most of the cheese dairies are open to visitors, and are well-worth the detour!

    Stroll through the charming typical villages of Normandy in the vicinity of the campsite: Pierrefite-en-Auge, Marolles, Blangy-le-Château… Discover Lisieux and its cathedral, or, further afield, Caen and its famous sites: Caen Memorial and the D-day landing beaches, as well as Bec-Hellouin abbey, the Cultural Centre of the West in the Middle Ages. History lovers can also visit Bayeux and its famous tapestry.

    Just 8 km from the campsite, Cerza Zoological Park runs safaris where you can see rhinoceroses, Andean bears, tigers, giraffes, monkeys…

    Tree high wire courses in Val des Cimes (20 km from the campsite) where you can climb from tree to tree with zip lines and rope bridges…

    Try sand yachting and sailing at Trouville-Hennequeville watersports centre.
    Horse riding in the forest or on the beach: there are many horse riding centres offering outings for all levels.

    Naturospace in Honfleur for big and little dreamers: the biggest butterfly greenhouse in Europe is in Honfleur. Over 80 species of butterflies from all over the world fly about freely at a temperature of 28°C. Magical atmosphere guaranteed!

    About fifteen km from the campsite, nestled in the green Normandy countryside, Saint-Julien-sur-Calonne golf course has 27 holes (9 and 18). Deauville golf course boasts splendid views of the sea and the surrounding countryside, and also has 9 and 18 hole courses.
